Defender Joseph Attamah Larweh books historic Turkish Cup final with Kayserispor –

Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah Larweh has made it to the finals of the Turkish Cup with Kayserispor after seeing off champions Trabzonspor in the semi-finals.

Attamah enjoyed full throttle of the match as Kayserispor recorded a 4-2 in the second leg of the tie on Tuesday to advance on a 4-3 aggregate scoreline.

Trabzonspor took an early lead in the 3rd minute in the game at the Kadir Has Stadium in Kayseri after Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme converted a penalty.

Kayserispor drew level three minutes into the second half through midfielder Emrah Bassan.

Iran international defender Majid Hosseini put the hosts in front for the first time in the game nine minutes later.

Trabzonspor restored parity in the 82nd minute with a goal coming from Greek midfielder Anastatios Bakasetas.

Kayserispor scored twice in stoppage time to overturn the first leg 1-0 defeat to make it to final of the cup competition for the first time since their last in the 2007/2008 season.

Senegalese forward Mame Thiam scored from the spot while Bassan scored his second goal of the match at the death to seal the historic victory for Kayserispor.
