Hearts of Oak assistant coach, David Ocloo has hailed his squad for securing a win over Asante Kotoko in the Super Clash which doubles as the President’s Cup.
The Accra-based side win 1-0 through Konadu Yiadom’s header at the Accra Sports stadium on Sunday.
Ocloo who led the team on the touchline, following fans revolt against head coach Slavko Matic, credited the players for the win.
“Let me congratulate my boys, they did a great job and has delivered what they promised me before the game,” Ocloo told media after the game.
“We are going to work hard and start winning our next matches.” He added
Hearts defended the trophy, having beaten the Porcupines in the previous edition of the President’s Cup.
The Phobians, who are levelled on points with Kotoko on the league log, are in fourth with 31 points.
