Accra Hearts of Oak will reconstitute a new Board of Directors on March 27, 2024, at its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The Ghana Premier League side on Tuesday dissolved its board after reviewing its financial statement submitted by auditors.
The now-defunct Board of Directors had about four meetings in efforts to put the right structures before constituting the new board.
Auditors had not concluded and submitted their report, hence the decision to have the final reports before announcing the dissolution.
The report was submitted about two weeks ago and it took about two meetings to conclude the review of the financial statements.
At the board’s meeting on Tuesday, the financial statement review ended and an announcement was made to end the tenure of the Togbe Afede XIV-led board.
However, the former Board Chairman asked outgoing board members to suggest potential replacements to serve on the board of directors.
Tuesday’s decision has ended Alhaji Alhassan Andani, Thomas Kwesi Esso, Professor Kofi Kumado, Ivy Heward Mills, Alhaji Moro Adamu, Vincent Sowah-Odotei, Dr Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe, and Frank Nelson Nwokolo’s run as board members after 12 years.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak has named Togbui Afede XIV and Delali Anku-Adiamah, its Managing Director, as the board members.
