Black Queens defender Comfort Yeboah has expressed her joy after scoring her first-ever goal for Ghana in their emphatic 4–0 victory over Egypt on Tuesday afternoon.
The talented full-back was one of Ghana’s standout performers in the second leg of the 2026 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier, played at the Accra Sports Stadium. Yeboah capped off a fine display with a superb strike in the second half, sealing a perfect afternoon for Nora Häuptle’s side.
Speaking after the game, the young defender couldn’t hide her excitement and urged Ghanaians to keep backing the team.
“Keep supporting us so that the team can go far. We thank you all. I’m very happy that I scored my first goal for the Black Queens in the big win against Egypt,” she said.
The dominant result saw Ghana progress to the 2026 WAFCON in Morocco with a commanding 7–0 aggregate scoreline, marking another milestone in their resurgent campaign under coach Häuptle.
