Black Princesses coach Yussif Basigi is urging Ghanaians to come out in full force and support their team as they face Senegal in the crucial final round qualifier for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Speaking ahead of the much-anticipated clash, Basigi assured fans and stakeholders that the team will get a victory and secure qualification for the World Cup.

“Ghanaians should expect victory and qualification to the World Cup come tomorrow. They should come out in their numbers to support the Black Princesses and cheer them on to victory,” he said.

“We are grateful for their support throughout the journey and this being the last lap, they should come in their numbers to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium,” he added.

The Black Princesses, having secured a convincing 2-0 victory in the first leg, are eager to maintain their winning streak and clinch a spot in the prestigious FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

Talented attacker Tracy Twum emerged as the star of the first encounter, netting both goals against Senegal. Riding high on this success, the Black Princesses are poised for a compelling performance on their home turf at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

A win on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 4:00 pm, will not only cement their dominance over Senegal but also secure their seventh consecutive appearance at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
