Hearts of Oak Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV has tasked newly appointed coach Slavko Matic to win the league for the club.
The Phobians officially announced his arrival of the Serbian on Wednesday as the replacement of Samuel Boadu.
He penned down a two year contract with continental clubs masters and has been made aware that winning the Ghana league title is a priority.
“Coach Matic was a player himself who derives his motivation from that and was very thrilled to work with us.” Togbe Afede XIV said at a press conference on Wednesday.
“Every coach we appoint knows that failure to win the league, as well as our ambitions in Africa, are things we take seriously as a club.” He concluded.
Matic will be supported by assistant coach David Ocloo and Richard Oppong as Goalkeeper’s trainer.
