Ghanaian trainer Samuel Boadu has declared his support for Dreams FC to win the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Ghanaian MTN FA Cup champions secured the quarter finals spot of the ongoing campaign and they will play away to their Malian counterparts Stade Malien in the first leg fixture on Sunday in Bamako, before hosting the return leg in Kumasi the following Sunday.
Speaking on Akoma FM, current Berekum Chelsea manager threw his weight behind the team to succeed in the ongoing campaign.
“I know Dreams FC to be a good team, especially Karim Zito who is my father in coaching.
“They are doing well lets face the fact and l wish them all the best because they are representing Ghana at the Africa level well.
“It is my hope Dreams FC wins the CAF Confederation Cup so that we can get additional slots, ” He stated.
Dreams FC advanced to this stage as group winners, boasting four wins and two draws, while Stade Malien secured their spot by finishing second in Group D with three wins, a draw, and a loss.
