South African side Black Leopards have mutually parted ways with Coach Maxwell Konadu following a disappointing start to the ongoing Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Konadu joined the club this season, but his tenure has been underwhelming, with the team managing only six wins in their first 17 games.

As a result, Leopards sit 10th on the league table with just 23 points.

On Saturday afternoon, they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Leruma United at the Leruma Stadium.

This prompted an emergency management meeting, where the decision was made to terminate Konadu’s contract.

Black Leopards will now look to bounce back in their next league fixture against Cape Town Spurs at the Thohoyandou Stadium in South Africa’s second-tier competition.
