Coach Maswud Didi Dramani has announced 26 man Black Galaxies squad ahead of Nigeria clash in the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers.

Coach Didi and the technical team will gear up to face Nigeria in a double header of the qualifiers against Nigeria on Sunday December 22,2024 at the Accra Sports Stadium and return fixture in Nigeria a week after.

The squad consists of three goalkeepers, Seven defenders, seven midfielders, five Strikers and four wingers.

Medeama SC has the large number of six players, Nations FC with four players.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak defender Osei Asibey, forward Hamza Issah, midfielder Richard Tetteh, Salim Adams were dropped from the squad list.

Below is the squad list.

Benjamin Asare, Kofi Mensah, Appiah Kubi, Kamaridini Mammudu, Stephen Amankonah, Sulemana Fatawu, Ebenezer Abban, Eric Danso, Nurudeen Abdulai, Hafiz Ibrahim, Asante Kusi,Manuel Martey Emmanuel Antwi.

The squad continues with Mustapha Yakubu, Derrick Fordjour, Faisal Charwetey, Rahaman Mohammed, Razak Simpson, Samuel Tetteh, Albert Amoah, Issah Yakubu, Jerry Afriyie, Francis Acquah, Ali Mohammed, Abdul Karim and Isaac Afful.

Ghana will be hoping to secure their second consecutive qualification after making the previous tournament in Algeria.

The tournament is scheduled to kick-off January to February next year in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania 2025.
