Mohammed Salisu has been named in Southampton’s starting line up for the Premier League clash against defending champions Manchester City.
The defender is back in the starting XI after being among the substitutes against Everton at St Mary’s last weekend.
The Ghanaian international has the unenviable task of stopping Erling Haaland and trying to help his side keep their first away league clean sheet since October 2021.
The Norwegian is currently topping the division’s goalscoring charts and the forward will look to add to his 14 goals – which is already a record tally for a player after their first eight PL games.
The match is scheduled to kick off at exactly 2pm at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon.
