Chris Hughton should create and train strikers for Ghana when given Black Stars job – Nyaho Tamakloe

Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) chairman, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has indicated that he believes Chris Hughton is the best person to take the Black Stars’ vacant head coach job.

Speaking in an interview, the Hearts of Oak board member said the background of the former Brighton & Hove Albion gaffer makes him the best choice for the job.

“I think Chris Hughton will be the right person because of his background. He has the African background; secondly, he is a coach with experience and also has had the opportunity to know these boys,” Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe told Graphic Sport.

The Hearts of Oak board member further stressed that Chris Hughton must be ready to come and stay in Ghana when he gets the job.

In addition, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe says the gaffer should create and train Black Stars for the Black Stars when he is appointed Ghana’s head coach.

“If Chris Hughton is given the job, then he should come and stay in Ghana and form his local Black Stars to ensure that the nucleus of the team should come from them. He should be able to create and also train strikers for the Black Stars,” he said.
