Ex-Ghana International Augustine Arhinful has openly expressed his concerns over the uninspiring performance of Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton.
According to him, the former Brighton and Holve Albion gaffer has not been ‘encouraging’.
Hughton has been under immense pressure following the Black Stars’ back to back defeats to Mexico and the USA.
Speaking to Graphic Sports, Ahinful said Hughton has more room to improve.
“There is always room for improvement. So far, it’s not been encouraging,” said the retired footballer, who made 20 senior appearances for Ghana between 1995 and 2000.
“He has been with this team since the ages of coach Otto Addo but l don’t know what is happening to him, ” he opined.
