Two fresh Chelsea transfer updates have emerged recently.
The first of which provides an update on Chelsea’s centre-back hunt. The Blues are in desperate need of some fresh legs at centre-back now Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have departed for Spain.
And a whole host of names have already been tipped for a Stamford Bridge switch, including Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, Matthijs de Ligt of Juventus and former Chelsea star, Nathan Ake.

Now though, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Napoli stopper Kalidou Koulibaly is also on the list of Chelsea targets, with it added that there have been conversations regarding the Senegalese star:
Kalidou Koulibaly, one more name in the list for Chelsea as they keep searching for two centre backs. He’s out of contract with Napoli in 2023. ? #CFC
Been told there are conversations also on Koulibaly alongside de Ligt, Aké, Koundé. Focus on Raphinha, and then centre backs.

Elsewhere, reports in Italy have claimed that Chelsea want midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who is valued at €80m by Lazio, and that negotiations are in the initial phase:
Il @ChelseaFC vuole #MilinkovicSavic, la @OfficialSSLazio chiede almeno 80 mln di #euro. La trattativa è nella fase iniziale. Ho appena avuto la conferma. Se gli Inglesi non partono dalla cifra sopra citata il serbo resta a #Roma. #Tare sarebbe a #Londra.

It is easy to see why Chelsea may wish to sign Milinkovic-Savic. United are in desperate need of some fresh legs in central midfield, especially now N’Golo Kante has become increasingly injury-prone in the last 18 months or so.
And the 27-year-old could be exactly what the Blues require, with SMS solid defensively but also very cable going forward, as shown by his 11 goals and 12 assists in 37 Serie A games last term.
