Chelsea turn attention towards Serie A duo

Two fresh Chelsea transfer updates have emerged recently.

The first of which provides an update on Chelsea’s centre-back hunt. The Blues are in desperate need of some fresh legs at centre-back now Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have departed for Spain.

And a whole host of names have already been tipped for a Stamford Bridge switch, including Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, Matthijs de Ligt of Juventus and former Chelsea star, Nathan Ake.

Now though, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Napoli stopper Kalidou Koulibaly is also on the list of Chelsea targets, with it added that there have been conversations regarding the Senegalese star:

Elsewhere, reports in Italy have claimed that Chelsea want midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who is valued at €80m by Lazio, and that negotiations are in the initial phase:

It is easy to see why Chelsea may wish to sign Milinkovic-Savic. United are in desperate need of some fresh legs in central midfield, especially now N’Golo Kante has become increasingly injury-prone in the last 18 months or so.

And the 27-year-old could be exactly what the Blues require, with SMS solid defensively but also very cable going forward, as shown by his 11 goals and 12 assists in 37 Serie A games last term.
