Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly preparing an £80 million offer for Ghana international Antoine Semenyo following his blistering start to the 2025/26 season with Bournemouth.
Semenyo, who was one of Ghana’s standout performers in recent international fixtures, has been in electric form; scoring six goals and providing three assists in seven league appearances. His performances earned him both the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards at Bournemouth in August.
The former Bristol City forward signed a new long-term contract with the Cherries during the summer despite interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur.
That deal has strengthened Bournemouth’s hand, as the club is under no pressure to sell and has placed a £70 million valuation on their prized asset.
Chelsea, however, are understood to be serious about bringing the Black Stars attacker to Stamford Bridge and are reportedly prepared to table an £80 million bid to tempt Bournemouth into negotiations.
The South Coast club has so far ruled out a January sale, insisting that Semenyo remains central to their plans.
