FC Nordsjaelland winger Prince Amoako Junior has revealed that playing for Chelsea remains a long-term ambition as he continues to impress in Denmark.
The 18-year-old Ghanaian has made a bright start to his professional career, quickly becoming a key figure for the Superliga side.
In his debut top-flight season, Amoako Junior has emerged as Nordsjaelland’s most productive attacker in the league, registering nine goal contributions made up of five goals and four assists.
Despite his rapid rise, the youngster insists he is focused on personal growth and finding the right environment to develop.
He admits the idea of pulling on the famous blue shirt at Stamford Bridge would be special, having followed the English club from an early age.
“I’ve always loved Chelsea since I was young,” he told Joy Sports.
“It would be a dream to play for them, but I also want to see myself at a place where it feels like home and a place where I will feel happy and play.
“Right now, I don’t know that yet.”
Amoako Junior is a product of Ghana’s renowned Right to Dream Academy and was promoted to Nordsjaelland’s senior squad at the start of the campaign.
