CHAN qualifiers: Nigeria assistant coach confident of qualifying ahead of Ghana –

Nigeria assistant coach Usman Abdallah is upbeat ahead of the Super Eagles’ match against Ghana in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers this weekend.

Nigeria must outperform Black Galaxies in Abuja to overcome a 2-0 first-leg deficit and advance to the tournament.

Ghana won last weekend thanks to an impressive second half performance that included both goals and are determined to seal qualification, but Nigeria have other plans.

“With the crop of players currently in camp, we have all it takes to qualify for the CHAN in Algeria,” he told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

“We have a good set of players from the local league, some of them have played in the main super Eagles, so the exposure is there,” he added.

The winner of the tie will play in tournament which will be held in Algeria next year.
