Black Galaxies attacking midfielder David Abagna Sanda was adjudged the best player in Ghana’s victory over Sudan in the ongoing 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria.
The Ghanaian team cruised to a 3-1 victory over Sudanese opposition to boost their hopes of advancing to the last 16.
Abagna, who started along with Nsobila and Simba in midfield was at the heart of everything good from the Galaxies.
His superb dribblings, surging forwards, and finding attacker’s with passes caught the eye of the CAF technical team.
In the game, Sudan took an early lead in the 31st minute through Al Gozoli Nooh but Walkner Annor’s side kept pushing for the equaliser and eventually got it before the break after Konadu Yiadom who was well-positioned tuck the ball home, albeit took a deflection.
The Falcons of Jediane started the second half on a high note but it was Ghana that played with more preciseness in the pursuit of another goal.
Captain Daniel Afriyie was brought down in the box and he made no mistake to convert from the spot and hand his side a 2-1 lead in the 65th minute.
Substitute Suraj Seidu completed the victory for Ghana with a fine strike in the dying embers of the game.
