Champions League finalists to get 20,000 of 75,000 tickets available

Teams that will make it to the finals of this season’s UEFA Champions League will only get 20,000 seats out of the 75,000 available at Paris’ Stade de France.

The move was revealed by UEFA who indicated that 12,000 tickets will go to worldwide fans, with the remaining 23,000 tickets to be distributed amongst commercial partners and hospitality.

“A total of 52,000 tickets out of 75,000 (the stadium’s capacity for the final) are available for fans and the general public to purchase. The two teams that reach the final will receive 20,000 each, while 12,000 tickets are being offered for sale to fans worldwide via UEFA.com.

“Ten thousand of the tickets reserved for the fans of the two teams will be offered for free to reward the lifeblood of the game for their loyal support during the pandemic. The ticket sale and allocation process for the tickets reserved for the fans of the finalists will be organized by the clubs involved, including the allocation of the free tickets.

“The remaining tickets are for the local organizing structure, UEFA and national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters, and the Official Hospitality program available also on UEFA.com,” UEFA noted in a statement.

The teams that are set to fight for a place in the finals include Liverpool, Villarreal, Manchester City, and Real Madrid.
