Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies grabbed their second successive win in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League after a 2-1 win over Prisons Ladies.

Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah got on the end of a great team build up to power in the opener in the 24th minute.

Edith Sasakor Zobanu drew Prisons Ladies level with an astonishing effort inside 36 minutes.

Ampem Darkoa mounted a strong attack and scored their second of the day just before the break.

Mabel Amoyaw got on the scoresheet in the 43rd minute to give the champions a well deserved win.

Dreamz Ladles failed to make their home advantage count as they threw away a first half lead to draw 1-1 with Fosu Royal ladies at bantama astro turf

Dreamz ladies got their dream start through Sarah Nyarko who scored under one minute to give the host the lead.

Dreamz Ladies were layer reduced to 10-players after Comfort Oduro was shown a red card in the 57th minute.

Three-minutes later, Patricia Agyei got the equaliser for Fosu Royal Ladies. Both sides pushed for the winner in the dying embers of the game but that came to naught as the game ended 1:1.

Elsewhere at the Bantama Astro Turf, Kumasi Sports Academy were battered 4-0 by Northern Ladies.

Northern ladies broke the deadlock through Mary Rose Akunne in the 26th minute but the home team leveled matters in the 43rd minute through Elizabeth Adom

Back from recess, Celestina Boye put the visitors infront again after tapping home in the 78th minute.

Mary Rose Akunne, again found the back of the net in the 89th minute before Waslima Mohammed completed the rout – as Northern Ladies romped to a 4-1 win.
