Chairman K5 makes bold prediction about Asante Kotoko’s title chances

Former National Circles Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Kwaku Amponsah, popularly known as ‘Chairman K5’ insists the Porcupine Warriors are still favorites to win the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League despite their defeat to Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The Kumasi-based giants fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat against their arch rivals in the super clash at the Accra Sports stadium.

A result that saw Kotoko drop down to 4th on standing with 31 points after 20 rounds of matches.

However, Chairman K5 remains adamant Seydou Zerbo’ side will retain the title at the end of the season.

“Hearts of Oak have scored us but still Kotoko will win the league title. We still have games to play in the ongoing season and I am confident we will win the title. It is the Super Clash; we beat them just us they’ve beaten us so we can’t stop supporting our team”

“They have scored us but to some of us it is normal, we will make sure we correct our mistakes going forward. We were supposed to pick this three points but we are not discouraged, we will ensure the team recover for subsequent games” he said.
