Celtic is monitoring Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo

According to transfer expert Pete O’Rourke, Celtic is monitoring City striker Antoine Semenyo.

The Scottish champions have been linked with the forward in the past, and according to his agent, they expressed interest in a potential deal earlier this year.

The Bhoys are anticipated to pursue the 22-year-old with dedication, according to O’Rourke.

“If it doesn’t happen during this summer transfer window, he is probably somebody who might reemerge on the scene for the January transfer window,” Pete said.

“Celtic have been keeping tabs on him for a while and I’m sure that will continue,”

Semenyo made his Bristol City debut on the final day of the 2017/18 season coming on as a second-half substitute for Lloyd Kelly in the 3–2 loss to Sheffield United at Ashton Gate.

Born in England, Semenyo is of Ghanaian descent. He debuted with the Ghana national team in a 3-0 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification win over Madagascar on 1 June 2022.
