Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo have completed the permanent transfer of Ghanaian forward Bernard Somuah from Asante Kotoko.
The 20-year-old initially moved to Spain on loan in 2024 before earning an extension due to his steady progress.
He featured prominently for the club’s reserve team, Celta Fortuna, where his development caught the attention of the technical staff.
His consistent displays convinced the club to activate a permanent deal.
Somuah has now signed a four-year contract, underlining Celta’s confidence in his potential.
The young attacker has scored five goals this season and played a key role in the reserve side’s campaign.
One of his latest strikes came in a 4-2 win over Real Avilés in the Spanish Primera Federación.
His performances have positioned him as one of the promising talents within the club’s system.
Somuah will now aim to push for opportunities with the senior team.
