Cecilia Hagan joins Saudi Arabian gaint Al-Ahli from Soccer Intellectuals

Defender Cecilia Hagan has joined Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli Saudi on a season deal with an option for a renewal.

The 22-year-old was unveiled on Thursday and begaun training with her mates in the Arabian peninsula.

The highly-rated defender started 2022/23 Malta Guiness Women’s Premier League on a high note but had to abandoned the league to seek greener pasture two weeks into the season.

Cecilia Hagan started her football career with Takoradi-based Division One side Kansa Ladies before joining Bafana Ladies now Sea Lions and later Soccer Intellectuals two seasons ago when the team was relegation.

She was an integral part of the Black Maidens team that participated in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Jordan 2016.
