Casemiro campaigns for Ronaldo to stay and defend himself from a choice for money!

Casemiro opens a new chapter in his career. After glorious years at Real Madrid, crowned with five Champions League titles, the midfielder has decided to leave the Meringues to join Manchester United. After bidding farewell to the Madrid club and receiving a vibrant tribute from Florentino Perez, the Brazilian international was at a press conference to answer questions from journalists.

Casemiro notably returned to his upcoming reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo: “I hope Cristiano Ronaldo stays, I want to play with him again, he’s amazing. I love the Premier League and I’ve always said I wanted to play there one day. I want to help Manchester United, I want to win new things.”

“I felt like I had finished my cycle”

Casemiro also explained the reasons for his departure: “When you make such an important decision, it’s difficult. At the end of the Champions League final, I spoke with my representative. I felt like I finished my cycle here. I am very honest with myself and with all Madrid residents. My rep told me we’d talk after the holidays. And I always had that feeling. I gave everything for this club and the mission is accomplished. »

While many do not understand his choice to join a team in difficulty and accuse him of having made a financial choice, the Brazilian defended himself: “People who think that don’t know me. I’m not like that. If it was for the money, I would have left four or five years ago. The club has always behaved very well with me. Those who say that are wrong. It’s the last thing on my mind. »

to summarize

Casemiro has decided to leave Real Madrid to join Manchester United. In a press conference, the Brazilian midfielder returned to the reasons for his choice and showed great ambitions with the Red Devils.
