PSG football adviser Luis Campos has spoken highly of Kylian Mbappé during a football conference organized by the Portuguese League in Porto.
A great admirer of Mbappé from a very young age, the strong man of recruitment in the French capital estimated that the tricolor international still had a huge margin for improvement. “Mbappe is not still only at 40 or 50% of its potential. And I tell him that every day. He can still give a lot more because he is a player who has not yet finished his training”said the Portuguese before returning to the player’s debut at AS Monaco.
The two men rubbed shoulders in the Principality a few years ago before meeting at PSG and the relationship with the Mbappé clan has always remained very special. “There is the speed of maturation, that is to say that not everyone evolves at the same rate. Mbappé at 16 was already developed at all levels. Physically he was very strong and had an understanding of the game worthy of a 26-year-old player”he continued.

His opinion on the World Cup
Asked about the 2022 World Cup, Luis Campos explained that this competition could mark history due to its special positioning in the calendar. “I think it’s the biggest competition in the world, at least for me, and for the first time in history the players will be full, with pace and fresher than ever. It will be the most intense World Cup ever.”, he explained. The competition will begin this Sunday with the meeting between the host country, Qatar, and Ecuador. The French team, reigning world champion, will launch its World Cup on Tuesday evening (8:00 p.m.) against Australia.
