Camavinga Returns to Angola: Real Madrid Star Pledges Support for Homegrown Talent

Real Madrid midfielder Camavinga has visited the headquarters of Angola’s Ministry of Youth and Sports with his parents, Celestino Camavinga and Sofia Simão.

The visit is part of his trip to Angola, where he’s evaluating the construction of a sports academy to support young talent development.

Camavinga, born in Cabinda, Angola, expressed his joy in returning to his homeland, saying, “I was born here. It’s always a pleasure to be with everyone and with the Angolan people.”

During his visit, Camavinga met with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Rui Falcão, and emphasized his commitment to supporting Angolan youth through sports initiatives.

The academy aims to provide opportunities for young Angolans to develop their skills and pursue careers in football.
