Real Madrid midfielder Camavinga has expressed his support for Angola’s national team at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 in Morocco.
“I followed the last AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire and we (Angola) played well. I believe Angola has a chance in Morocco. In any case, I support them,” Camavinga said to reporters upon his arrival in his native land for holidays.
Born in Cabinda, Angola, Camavinga has strong ties to the country, despite representing France internationally.
He’s currently in Angola, launching a football academy in Luanda, and met with local journalists to share his enthusiasm for the national team.
Camavinga praised Angola’s performance in the previous AFCON and is optimistic about their chances this time around.
