Callum Hudson-Odoi out of Frankfurt game due to knee injury

Bayer Leverkusen winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is out of their weekend game against Eintracht Frankfurt due to injury.

The club will take on Frankfurt without the winger who has performed well in recent weeks.

Callum Hudson-Odoi sustained the knee injury during the game against FC Porto in the Uefa Champions League.

The 21-year-old was substituted in the 69th minute in the 3-0 defeat to Portuguese giants FC Porto.

On 30 August 2022, Callum Hudson-Odoi joined Bundesliga team Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Chelsea.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has made five appearances and assisted one goal in the Bundesliga this season for Bayer Leverkusen.

He has also played four games in the Uefa Champions League this season for Bayer Leverkusen.

According to reports, he will leave Chelsea permanently at the end of the 2022/23 season. He is likely to stay in Germany the reports stated.

Leverkusen will play Eintracht Franfurt on Saturday afternoon.
