CAF appoints Burundi officials for Ghana-Morocco U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier –

CAF has appointed Burundi officials to oversee this month’s U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier between Ghana and Morocco.

Suavis Iratunga will serve as the centre referee for the first round match on May 20, 2022, in Accra.

She will be assisted by compatriots Fides Bangurambona (Assistant I), Arcella Uwizera (Assistant II) and Aline Umutoni (Fourth Referee). Latré-Kayi Edzona Lawson Hogban from Togo will be the Match Commissioner whiles Ghana’s Christiana Baah serves as COVID-19 Officer.

Black Maidens are confident of a positive result at the Accra Sports Stadium to take to Morocco for the second leg.

Coach Baba Nuhu’s side defeated Guinea 10-1 on aggregate in the previous round, but they will have to be at their best against Morocco, who scored 18 goals over two legs against Niger.
