The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the hosts for the 2025 CAF Awards, set for Wednesday, 19 November, at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat.
The ceremony begins at 19:00 local time (18:00 GMT) and will be led by two standout African personalities ; Beninese music legend Angélique Kidjo and Moroccan comedian Oualass.
Kidjo, a five-time Grammy Award winner, is celebrated globally for her contributions to music and activism. Recognised by Time magazine as one of the world’s 100 most influential women, she also serves as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and an advocate for women’s rights, education, and the preservation of African culture.
Oualass brings a different flavour to the evening known for his improvisation, humour, and commanding stage presence, he has become one of Morocco’s most beloved performers.
Their pairing reflects CAF’s intention to showcase not just football excellence but the wider cultural richness of the continent, promising a ceremony that celebrates African talent on and beyond the pitch.
