Ralf Rangnick has reported that Bruno Fernandes was uninjured following a car accident on Monday morning.
The Portuguese midfielder crashed with a Volkswagen 4×4 on his way to training ahead of the Premier League clash against Liverpool, although none of the parties involved sustained major injuries.
Fernandes‘ car was damaged in the front right-hand corner, while the Volkswagen’s front-left wheel was crushed in and the passenger airbags deployed.
“He has been training with the team, obviously the accident happened on the way to Carrington,” confirmed the German boss.
“As far as I know, no one was injured. He was okay and he’ll be okay for tomorrow.”
Otherwise, United are hopeful that Raphael Varane will be fit to face Liverpool following a muscular issue. Scott McTominay is out with a foot injury, Edinson Cavani is out with a calf injury, Luke Shaw is out with a leg injury, and Fred is out with a hip injury.
