Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos is confident in his team’s abilities ahead of their clash with Egypt in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Both sides picked up important wins in their first games, setting the stage up for a mammoth clash.
“There’s some things we need to take into account; that we’re playing against a very good team. But we will never adapt 100% to an opponent… We have our own qualities, and we have to show Egypt tomorrow,” Broos said.
Broos’ team is looking to build on their 2-1 win over Angola, after finishing in the semifinals in the last AFCON.
Egypt, who also won their opener against Zimbabwe 2-1, will be a tough test, with stars like Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush leading the charge.
Broos emphasized that Bafana Bafana won’t change their game plan drastically, instead focusing on showcasing their own skills.
“We have to put Egypt in difficult situations, and you can only do that when you use your quality and the players you normally use,” he added.
