Bayern Munich have won the Bundesliga for the tenth straight season with a 3-1 victory over rivals Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker.
Dortmund needed a win on Saturday to block Bayern Munich’s march to an unprecedented triumph, but despite a tenacious second-half performance, the visitors never appeared poised to extend the title chase.
Indeed, they were beaten to a pulp in the first half as Bayern raced to a 2-0 lead thanks to Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski.
Emre Can’s 52nd-minute penalty added intrigue, however, Jamal Musiala’s late goal sealed an eighth consecutive Klassiker triumph.

Bayern Munich are the first team in Europe’s top five leagues to win their respective top division ten times in a row – they previously shared the record with Juventus, who won Serie A every year from 2012 to 2020.
Bayern clinched the championship over their historic rivals, although the rivalry has been increasingly one-sided in recent seasons. Indeed, only against Hamburg (from 1982 to 1985) has Dortmund endured as many straight defeats as Bayern (eight).
