Brazil have confirmed they will play Ghana in a pre-2022 World Cup friendly match in September.
The five-time world champions will also play Tunisia, another African side.
The friendly match between Ghana and Brazil was first reported by Ghanasoccernet on Friday, and both federations have since confirmed.
The Brazilian team will face Ghana and Tunisia in the last preparatory games before the final call for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The matches will be held on September 23 and 27, in Europe,” Brazilian Football Confederation said.
“The cities and times of the friendly matches will be announced in the future.”
Coach Otto Addo will use the game as a platform to evaluate his players in the run-up to the World Cup Qatar finals in Doha.
Black Stars will play Portugal (24 November), South Korea (28 November), and Uruguay (December 2). (December 2) in the group stage.
