English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth have began talks to sign Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo in the ongoing January transfer window.

The Ghanaian international has only six months left on his current deal and with no new one having yet been agreed, the Robins are resigned to losing one of their key stars.

Kickoffghana understands that the Championship side are willing to listen offers for Semenyo this month to avoid losing the player for free in the summer.

Bournemouth who are looking to bolster their attacking options this window are expected to table a formal bid in the coming weeks.

The new owners of the Cherries led by Bill Foley are set to make funds available for manager Gary O’neil to sign the lanky forward.

The 22 year old striker who made his Black Stars debut against Madagascar in June 2022, scored eight goals and registered 12 assists in the Championship last season.

He was part of Ghana’s squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
