Brazilian side Botafogo FC have made a significant addition to their squad with the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Sabit Abdulai.
Abdulai, a former Ghana national team player, joined the team on August 6 and has been training with the squad since.
With his documentation now in order, he is available for selection by coach Paulo Gomes for the next Brazilian Serie B match.
Abdulai’s football journey began in Ghana with Spartans FC before moving to Spain in 2017 to play for UD Extremadura.
His impressive performances caught the attention of La Liga side Getafe CF, where he gained valuable experience.
He also played for Ponferradina, Lugo, and Real Murcia, further developing his skills.
On the international stage, Abdulai has represented Ghana at various youth levels, including the Africa Cup of Nations with the U20 team and friendlies with the U23 team.
