Italian Serie A outfit Bologna have added Ghanaian teenager Kwesi Sorotu Badori to their youth setup for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.

The agreement includes a clause that allows the club to make the move permanent if the midfielder meets expectations.

Badori makes the switch from Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea after two seasons of steady progress and eye-catching displays.

The 18-year-old’s arrival was confirmed by Bologna at the close of the winter transfer window on February 2.

After finalising the paperwork, the youngster returned home to complete his work permit process before heading back to Italy.

Badori is expected to link up with Bologna’s youth side once documentation is cleared.

This campaign, he has made 14 league appearances and found the net twice for Berekum Chelsea.

That output represents an improvement on his debut season, where he scored once in 29 games.

His recent rise has placed him among the most closely monitored young midfielders in Ghana.

Prior to Bologna’s move, the promising talent had also attracted interest from FC Basel and clubs in Denmark.
