Ghana’s Black Stars are set to participate in a four-nation tournament in England during the June-July international break.
This announcement comes after the team’s impressive performances in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, where they won 5-0 against Chad and 3-0 against Madagascar.
Ghana currently top Group I, with 15 points and have set sights on making it to the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Speaking to 3sports, management committee chairman, Randy Abbey said : “Fortunately the technical team and the management will have opportunity of further working on the team.
“Because in June, we don’t have qualifiers and so we will be playing in a four nation friendly in England. I’m sure that it will be an opportunity for the coaches to do some further work on the team.
“We are hoping that some of the players who are injured will also be back and will also be able to get an oppotunity to play some two games before the September internationals.”
After the four nations tournament, Black Stars will take on Chad and Mali in the round of the qualifiers.
