The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the Black Stars will hold their first training session on Wednesday, November 12, as preparations begin for their upcoming international friendlies against Japan and South Korea.
Ghana will face Japan first in the 2025 Kirin Cup on Friday, November 14, before travelling to Seoul for the clash with South Korea four days later.
Head coach Otto Addo has named a refreshed squad for the tour, with several key players — including captain Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Alexander Djiku, Ernest Nuamah, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku — all ruled out due to injuries and club commitments.
Their absence has opened the door for three debutants: striker Prince Kwabena Adu, winger Kelvin Nkrumah of Medeama SC, and CF Montreal forward Prince Osei Owusu.
Adu, formerly of Bechem United, has been in fine form in the Czech Republic, while Owusu, who scored nine goals for Toronto FC last season, brings international experience and attacking depth.
According to GFA sources, some players reported to camp on Tuesday, with the full squad expected to assemble by Wednesday for their first training session under Addo.
