Headcoach of Black Stars, Otto Addo, expressed disappointment over the team’s subpar home performances during the AFCON 2025 qualifying campaign.
Ghana will not be at the continental showpiece set to be staged in Morocco bringing an end to the country’s enviable 20 year consecutive qualifying streak.
Addo and his lads will engage Niger in the final game on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Speaking at press conference, Addo blames Ghana’s AFCON 2025 qualification failure on poor home form.
“The main thing is home form in these qualifiers.
”Sometimes I wish we had played badly and won, but unfortunately that didn’t happen.
”We played well, but sometimes in football you can do everything right but if you don’t score you lose,” he said.
Ghana currently sit bottom on Group F table with just three points from five matches.
