Former Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang Badu believes that the Black do not deserve a place in the 2025 African Cup of Nations because of their low in quality.
Ghana failed to secured their spot in next years competition set to be staged in Morocco after five matches without victory.
Ghana sit bottom of Group F with three points from a possible 15.
“Our team lacked the quality to qualify for the AFCON,” he told Akoma FM.
“Our problem started long ago, and the funny aspect is that we celebrate mediocrity and deceive ourselves into thinking that the team is okay after winning a game. I nearly cried yesterday,” he added.
Ghana face Niger on Monday at Accra Sports Stadium in the final round qualifier which kick off at 4pm.
