Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo, has expressed his love for Ghanaian music and dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, in his time off the pitch.
Otto Addo made this telling revelation in an exclusive interview with 3sports, enlisting a number of Ghanaian music celebrities he revels to their tunes.
The 49-year-old, who is largely known for being a sports fanatic, compiled a fascinating list when pressed upon his musical preferences (artistes).
“Even though I don’t speak GA, I love to hear GA, so I like Shatta Wale, especially when he talks and speaks in Ga. Then, surely, Kwesi Arthur, Sarkodie, great lyrics. Black Sheriff, Mr Eazi, I love him, he said.
Otto Addo, who was appointed as Black Stars coach in March, has recorded back-to-back victories in the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers, with his only loss on his return a sour 2-1 defeat against bitter rivals Nigeria.
The Black Stars head coach’s variation in being an ardent follower of music, underscores his adaptabilty with his immediate environment as well as tactical proficiency.
