Black Queens midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe is perturbed by the teams’ failure to progress to the next stage of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers after 3-3 draw against Zambia.
The Senior women’s national team suffered a 1-0 defeat at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg before playing out a 3-3 draw in Ndola on Wednesday evening.
As a results, the Copper Queens has advanced to the final round of the qualifiers on 4-3 aggregate.
“Last night will hurt for a while. As soon as the Olympic journey comes to an end. I would like to thank Ghanaians and our fans across the globe for your amazing support,” she wrote on social media.
The Black Queens will now focus on the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which takes place in Morocco later this year.
