Black Queens midfielder Ernestina Abambila joins Turkish club Hakkarigucu Spor Kulubu

Black Queens midfielder Ernestina Abambila has completed a move to Turkish club Hakkarigucu Spor Kulubu from Polish outfit Uczniowski Klub Sportowy Szkoła Mistrzostwa Sportowego Łódź.

The 24-year-old joins the Blue and White on a one-year deal after passing her mandatory medicals.

Abambila parted ways with Polish side Uczniowski Klub Sportowy Szkoła Mistrzostwa Sportowego Łódź following the expiry of her contract at the end of the season.

Hakkarigucu Spor Kulubu’s official statement reads: “ERNESTINA ABAMBILA is a successful midfielder of Poland’s Sms Łódź team, she will sweat for blue and white colors, welcome”

She has vast experience having played for FC Minsk in Belarus where she participated in the UEFA Women’s Champions League and became the first Ghanaian to score in the competition.

The highly-rated midfielder has also previously featured for Aris Thessaloniki, Assi IF, Mississippi Valley State University, Youngstown State University, Recreativo Huelva, and KKPK Medyk Konin.

Abambila has represented Ghana at all levels including the U-17, U-20, and the senior national team.
