This setback comes as Ghana prepares to face Hong Kong, Russia, and Tanzania in the tournament, which serves as a crucial warm-up for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Kim’s absence is a blow to coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren’s squad, which had been gearing up for the Pink Ladies Cup with a mix of experienced players and fresh talent, including goalkeeper Rose Baah and defender Diana Amoako.
