Ghana’s U20 women’s national team, the Black Princesses, have unveiled a formidable 20-player squad for the upcoming WAFU Zone B U20 Girls’ Cup, set to take place in Benin from November 7 to 12, 2025.

Head coach Charles Sampson has opted for a blend of experience and youthful energy as Ghana looks to defend the title they won in 2023.

The team will be captained by Dreamz Ladies’ trio – Sarah Nyarko, Ivy Owusu Osei, and Precious Asante – alongside Black Queens forward Mary Amponsah, who brings senior national team experience to the side.

Hasaacas Ladies’ forward Rubby Osei is also part of the team.

The tournament will feature hosts Benin and Nigeria, with Niger withdrawing from the competition. Matches will be played in a round-robin format, with the top side crowned champions.

Ghana enters the tournament as defending champions, having lifted the maiden title on home soil in Kumasi in 2023
