Bibiani Goldstars target at least a point against Hearts of oak

Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Frank Amankwah says his outfit will be at securing at least a point when they face Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

The Phobians will play host to the Miners in matchday 24 of the Ghana Premier League campaign.

Goldstars have been inconsistent in the 2023/24 campaign, winning seven games, drawing eight and losing eight after 23 matches and are currently 13th on the domestic top-flight standings after 23 matches.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Wontumi FM monitored by Footballghana.com, the enterprising midfielder asserted his outfit ultimate target is to secure at least a point in Accra against Hearts of Oak.

“Players who injured are back to the team. we are going into the game with all seriousness just like how we did in our previous game against Heart of Lions”

“We are going to Accra to at least get a point against Hearts of Oak. Getting a point against Hearts of Oak will help us in subsequent games” he said.

With eleven games to end the season, Goldstars find themselves on the 13th position on the Premier League standings with 29 points.
