Benjamin Asare resumes training for Hearts of Oak after injury layoff

Hearts of Oak’s goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has resumed training after a brief injury layoff.

Asare, who missed the Phobians’ last three league matches, is expected to be back in action soon, having spent nearly two weeks on the sidelines.

His absence had impacted the team’s performance, with Hearts managing only one win in their last four games and crashing out of the FA Cup.

Asare’s injury occurred shortly after his return from international duty with the Black Stars, where he impressed in Ghana’s 1-0 loss to South Korea.

Solomon Agbasi has been holding the fort in goal, but Asare’s experience will be crucial in stabilizing the team’s defense.

Prior to his injury, Asare had made eight league appearances, keeping five clean sheets and establishing himself as a key figure in Hearts’ defensive structure.

His recovery is timely, as the team looks to bounce back from recent setbacks.
