Accra Hearts of Oak has announced that goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has extended his contract with the club for two years, keeping him until 2027.
The 32-year-old has been a key player for the Phobians, and his impressive performances caught the attention of Black Stars coach Otto Addo.
Asare joined Hearts of Oak from Great Olympics in 2024 and quickly established himself as a top goalkeeper.
His exceptional skills earned him a spot in the Black Stars national team, where he competed with other talented goalkeepers, including Lawrence Ati-Zigi and Joseph Wollacott.
Asare made his Black Stars debut in a 5-0 win over Chad, followed by another impressive performance against Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
He earned clean sheets in both matches, showcasing his exceptional goalkeeping abilities.
