Ben Foster, Nicolas Nkoulou, Andre Gray, Juraj Kucka and Peter Etebo have all left Watford.
Goalkeeper Foster, 39, has been released at the end of his contract after re-signing permanently from West Brom in 2018.
Defender Nkoulou – who made three league appearances since signing in October 2021 – and striker Gray – who spent the last campaign on loan at Queens Park Rangers – have also departed upon the expiration of their deals.
Kucka has chosen to activate a release clause in his contract, bringing an end to his one-season stay in Hertfordshire, while fellow midfielder Etebo has returned to parent club Stoke City following his loan spell at Vicarage Road.
Watford FC can confirm that five first-team players have left the club.
We thank the departing players for their contributions and wish them the best of luck for the next steps in their careers.
